An Embedded Communication Method for In-Home Energy Routers With Power/Signal Dual Modulation

This article proposes a novel embedded communication strategy for in-home energy routers (IHERs). It is based on the power/signal dual modulation (PSDM) principle and applied in small-scale community local area network (E-LAN). The proposed multiplexes power converters as data transmitters, thus high cooperation synchronization between flow information are achieved. In addition, system reliability enhanced since module has practically same module. A typical IHER’s structure operation principles presented, which detailed design of proposed. For distributed management E-LAN, both intra-IHER inter-IHERs involved, their channels modeled mathematically. IHER interconnection interface (IICs) play significant role exchange IHERs, modes analyzed detail. Finally, an experimental prototype built to validate feasibility method.
